critical. Mallige is considered to offer the quickest response the moment a patient enters the hospital with a medical emergency.
Our Emergency and Trauma team routinely attends to victims road traffic accidents, domestic and industrial accidents and other medical emergencies. Mallige is among the few hospitals that admits victims of burns. Mallige Medical Centre has also successfully treated victims of a terrorist attack.
Mallige Medical Centre routinely participates in mock Mass Casualty exercises conducted by the Government.
The Emergency and Trauma Department is supported by a well-equipped ICU with the latest life support equipment, Specialist care and 24 hour diagnostic facilities.
Mallige, recognized for its infrastructure and trauma care, is a part of the Comprehensive Trauma Consortium (CTC) in Bangalore. The consortium has a network of several hospitals that are connected by wireless communication to the police control room. In case of emergency the police contact the nearest hospital, which is a part of the consortium, where the persons are taken for treatment.
