The Outpatient Department at Mallige Medical Centre is open 7 days a week. Mallige pioneered the concept of remaining open until late in order to enable people to visit after their working hours. The Outpatient Department operates from 8 am to 9 pm from Monday to Saturday and from 8 am to 12 noon on Sundays.

With recent advancements in technology, it is possible to perform more number of surgeries and procedures under daycare. The advantages of daycare for a patient is that they can return home eliminating the need for prolonged hospitalization. It also results in lower cost of treatment.

Some examples of daycare procedures include Cataract surgery, Dialysis, Chemotherapy.
