Conditions of Reporting

  • It is presumed that the tests performed on the specimen belong to the patient named or identified as such.

  • The reported results are for the information and interpretation by a qualified medical professional only.

  • Only such medical professionals who understand reporting units, reference ranges and limitations of the technologies employed for testing should interpret the results.

  • The report may need to be correlated clinically as the laboratory investigations are dependent on multiple variables.

  • The results of the tests may vary from laboratory to laboratory and also in some parameters from time to time for the same patients depending on multiple variables.

  • The retention time for benign specimens is 1 month, and malignant specimens is 6 months.
